From Evansville Police Department Incident Reports - March 24, 2012.
ALL SUSPECTS ARE PRESUMED INNOCENT UNTIL PROVEN GUILTY IN A COURT OF LAW.
Society - Victim of OMVWI at 499 Ray Becker Pkwy/Claremont Ave Evansville, IN between 14:25 03/24/2012 and 14:30 03/24/2012.
Officers were dispatched to a motor vehicle accident. One of the drivers involved appeared to be under the influence of drugs. A blood/urine kit was done and the drive was charged with OMVWI.
Bellomy, Lee Allen - Victim of Battery-simple assault at 3518 Taylor Ave Evansville, IN between 00:00 03/24/2012 and 00:02 03/24/2012.
Officers were in the area of the Arbors on Taylor Ave and heard what they thought was a fight. Officers went to the area where the noise was coming from and noticed a loud crowd in the parking lot. When the subjects involved and watchers of the fight noticed the officers they started to walk toward the apartments. Officers located the victim of the fight. The victim stated he was at a nearby apartment drinking. The victim stated a friend (suspect) of his was at the apartment with him and they started to get into fight. The victim stated the suspect hit him in the face, bloodying his nose and mouth.
Bellomy, Mark Allen - Victim of Battery-serious injury/knife at 1402 Harrelton Dr Evansville, IN between 01:00 03/24/2012 and 08:21 03/24/2012.
The victim said he heard a ruckus and he looked out of his door. He said he noticed a crowd of 14 or more. He said he could see his brother on the ground being jumped. He then ran toward the fight and began pulling them off. He told me a black female jumped on his back. He said he felt a sharp pain in his butt cheek. He then went back inside. He says he has no idea what happened. Hours later he went to St Mary's where he was told he had been stabbed, about 1cm deep. The hospital is going to just bandage it and send him home. Detective notified.
Adventure Land Golf - Victim of Theft-other at 4650 Morgan Center Dr Evansville, IN between 22:00 03/23/2012 and 12:57 03/24/2012.
I was dispatched to 4650 Morgan Center Drive (Adventure Land Golf) in reference to theft of property. I spoke with the owner of the miniature golf course who told me, "After I left my business last night, someone stole from my business, the person took five different hand carved wooden number sign posts for this golf course." (Reporter) does not know who would have done this and he does not know why someone would have done this. Little suspect information at this time. The signs were in two different sections of the course, the Gorilla section had signs numbered 3-4-18 and in the Rhino section, signs numbered 17 & 18 were stolen.
Lukac, Katherine Margaret - Arrest on charge of OMVWI-bac .15% or more at 1121 Washington Square......Society - Victim of OMVWI-bac .15% or more at 1121 Washington Square Evansville, IN between 00:20 03/25/2012 and 00:25 03/25/2012.
Officer was dispatched in reference to a possible intoxicated female driving in the parking lot and hitting cars. Officers arrived on scene ... the driver of the suspect vehicle had failed SFST's. Driver was placed in custody and transported to VCCC.
