Hayes, Jay Wayne - Victim of AMR Assist at 1015 N Fulton Ave Evansville, IN between 23:00 05/18/2012 and 23:06 05/18/2012.
Subjects in the bar called 911 for the victim after finding him on the floor by the front door. The subject was extremely intoxicated and although there were several other patrons in the bar, as well as the bartender, that the subject was in full view of, they all said that an unknown person hit him and knocked him out. No one could describe the suspect and they all said they did not see what happened, although they were sure he was hit by someone. There was no evidence of the subject being hit, i.e. a mark on his face or jaw, other than a bump over his right eyebrow from hitting the floor face first. The bartender admitted that he had been inside the bar drinking heavily for a while and it appeared to me that he either tripped or fell and hit the floor face first causing the injury over his right eye. He was too intoxicated to talk to me and was taken by AMR for treatment.

Anderson, Adam Steven - Arrest on charge of Disorderly Conduct at 2131 W Franklin St......Hassler, Nathan Lynn - Victim of Disorderly Conduct at 2131 W Franklin St Evansville, IN on 05/19/2012, 01:36.
I, Nathan L. Hassler, was on routine patrol when i witnessed the offender being forcibly restrained by several subjects outside Club Royale Nightclub. I pulled up in full uniform in my fully marked squad car. The offender saw me and began walking way from me at a brisk pace. I gave the offender several loud verbal commands to stop and he failed to do so. I ran up to him and grabbed him by the shirt to get him to stop. At that point the subject pushed me away with his hands and began walking way from me again. I again grabbed the subject, this time by the arm and told him to stop again. He pulled away from me and I was forced to take him forcefully to the ground. I used a wrist lock to place the offender into handcuffs as he was still struggling with me while he was on the ground and would not give me his hands. After placing him in handcuffs, I asked the offender if he was done causing a scene. He told me that he was not going to cause any more problems and I helped him off of the pavement. I walked him to my car and the offender again pulled away from me at the sight of the crowd that had gathered outside the bar. The offender began yelling that he was a taxpayer and he did not deserve to be treated in the manner that I had treated him. I pushed him over the trunk of may car and told him that he needed to be quiet and quit causing a scene. The offender was transported to the Vanderburgh County Confinement Center and booked without incident.
