A LOOK BACK
Pictures From Past Tri-State Area Incidents MARCH 2, 2012 - WE RECEIVED SEVERAL PHOTOS FROM OUR FOLLOWERS (including the 2 above) SHOWING THIS FUNNEL CLOUD AS IT MOVED ACROSS NORTHERN VANDERBURGH COUNTY. ALTHOUGH THE FUNNEL LOOKED OMINOUS, IT NEVER TOUCHED DOWN AND NO DAMAGE WAS REPORTED. THIS FUNNEL CLOUD WAS SPAWNED BY A STRONG STORM SYSTEM THAT AFFECTED A LARGE SECTION OF THE SOUTHERN U.S. AND THE OHIO VALLEY REGION. THE STORMS RESULTED IN 41 TORNADO-RELATED FATALITIES, 22 OF WHICH OCCURRED IN KENTUCKY. (From Wikipedia) ADDITIONAL INFO >> MARCH 2-3, 2012 TORNADO OUTBREAK
